Message most cars make a peak number, say at 7500 rpm, now the power may fall off gradually to say 8500. But if you have a 10k RPM limit, you can keep the turbos spooled and keep in the overall high hp powerband on the top end for a longer amount of time. No one is shifting right after peak power, you try to keep the car where average power and torque is the greatest for the longest amount of time.

I guess what I am saying is, you can rev the shit out of the RB, and have worse spool. VG will spool better but wont have as high rev limit as the RB.

So, technically you could keep both motors at the same or close to the same HP levels for a set amount of time. The RB is just going to take a bit longer to get there. But it makes up the difference with rev limit possibilities
